Designers of the Ambiente picture frame series have set the Phoebe model in bronze with offset edges. This coloring with the contrasts of the inner and outer strips makes the frame optically almost larger than the real wood strip actually is. The overall width in the top view is 45 mm, and in height the highest bar comes to 22 mm, with which it projects into the room. Not only the dimensions allow a flexible use of the Phoebe frame, but also the dark brown bronze color with the contrasting strips in gray. The coloring with the associated design elements hardly make the frame look like wood anymore, rather the surface appears like a fine natural stone due to a marbled effect. The light-colored outer strips are further emphasized here, since the integrated filigree individual strips reflect the structure of a relief. Here, the designers have drawn from the full. They put the icing on the cake with the applied marbling. For this they chose a mix of different bronze colors, sometimes in lighter, sometimes in darker brown. On the other hand, lighter shades are used on the dark brown center bar, here as well as dabbed on with a sponge. The surface did not need a shine, because this special coloring is particularly effective with a matt structure.
