Carl Grossberg - “Zandvoort”
Art reproduction on watercolour paper in a “Lorrina” frame
In this version, Carl Grossberg’s “Zandvoort” appears as a matter-of-factly composed view of a place where architecture, art and clear forms converge. Grossberg, a German artist of the New Objectivity movement, frequently focuses his gaze on built structures, technical precision and the quiet order of modern spaces. In this work, too, the effect arises less from narrative movement than from composition, line and a concentrated observation of the surroundings.
The reproduction measures 48 × 58 cm and is executed on Munch watercolour paper. The matt, sturdy medium enhances the clear linework and the calm, flat effect of the motif. No glass has been used, allowing the surface of the paper to remain immediately visible.
The work is framed by the “Lorrina” decorative frame in gold foil with a wood-effect finish. Measuring 19 mm in width and 30 mm in height, the frame provides a narrow yet clearly defined border with a warm wood-effect finish. A screw-mounted hook discreetly completes the design.
