Gustav Klimt - “Bauerngarten”
Art reproduction on canvas in a „Mare“ frame
In this version, Gustav Klimt’s „Bauerngarten“ appears as a dense interweaving of flowers, colours and ornamental surfaces. The work belongs to those depictions of nature in which Klimt conceives the landscape not as a vast expanse, but as an almost tapestry-like composition. Flowers, leaves and splashes of colour come together to form a vibrant pattern that lies somewhere between precise observation and decorative condensation. Klimt, one of the defining artists of Viennese Modernism, combines natural motifs and ornamentation here to create a visual effect that is both serene and intense.
The reproduction measures 48 × 49 cm and is executed on Leonardo (Satin) canvas. The satin finish clearly renders the subtle colour nuances and the dense texture of the motif without obscuring the character of the canvas. The motif is mounted on a stretcher frame and continues in a mirrored pattern at the sides, giving the edges of the image a seamless appearance.
The work is framed by the “Mare” decorative frame in a champagne-coloured wood finish. With a width of 45 mm and a height of 35 mm, the frame subtly complements the warm colours of the picture. A screw-mounted serrated hanging system completes the design.
