Autumn Flowers

My first painting of 2026. In a city park in Barcelona, in late autumn, I came across a small cluster of white flowers that seemed to be emerging from a carpet of dry leaves. The trees were shedding their leaves in a gentle shower of ochre-coloured leaves, covering the ground. I photographed this scene, and it inspired this painting, which I have called: Autumn Flowers. I painted it entirely on my iPad Air using the Procreate app. I didn’t use any AI; I painted it directly onto the screen as if it were a canvas, without any layers.
