The painting "Breakfast in the Green" was created in 1863 by the French painter Édouard Manet. It shows four people sitting in the forest. Next to them is a picnic blanket with food basket. Two men look on conversationally, a naked lady sits next to it. Between the two gentlemen, one can observe in the background another naked woman. Today you can see the work in the Musée d`Orsay in Paris. The artist Edouard Manet was born on January 23, 1832 in Paris and died on April 30, 1883 in Ebenda. His works are very popular objects in the art market. Some of his paintings changed hands for tens of millions of dollars. In honor of Manet, several streets were named after him in France. So there are in some cities, including Paris, a so-called Rue Éduard Manet.
