This painting directs the viewer's gaze to the central area, where a ravine opens up and leads into new, unexplored areas. Birds fly out of this part of the world as if to deliver a message. This painting was created in the style of similar works of art from the past, which depict gorges with a body of water in the middle. It was not simply copied from another painting, but the motif was reinvented and developed individually and artistically. The curtains are a new symbolic element. Otherwise, a cool shade of blue dominates the scene, which reflects the humidity and general dampness in this valley. For the viewer, the invented scene can seem like something out of a dream, especially because the view of the painting is framed by curtains. Curtains symbolize separation and demarcation and create the illusion of looking through a window. If someone has this painting at home, either as an original or as an art print, it creates an additional window on the wall, so to speak. It is a smaller oil painting. However, it has been professionally digitized so that it can be used as wall decoration or wallpaper. The original painting entitled 'Light is my name' is an oil painting on canvas from 2018. The size of the original is 40 x 50 cm. Thanks to professional digitization, a metre-sized print can also be produced without any loss of quality.
