This painting directs the viewer's gaze to the central area, where a ravine opens up and leads into new, unexplored areas. Birds fly out of this part of the world as if to deliver a message.
This painting was created in the style of similar works of art from the past, which depict gorges with a body of water in the middle. It was not simply copied from another painting, but the motif was reinvented and developed individually and artistically. The curtains are a new symbolic element. Otherwise, a cool shade of blue dominates the scene, which reflects the humidity and general dampness in this valley.
