E.C. Mazur is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, Canada. Her work explores the beauty of nature and the power of the human imagination through visual art, poetry, murals, and performance. The depths of the ocean waves, the enchantment of forests, and the mysteries of the stars inspire her intricate dreamworlds, built with pictures and words. Layered into this is a celebration of our ability as humans to create – to take a simple sheet of paper and a pen, and make something new. She hopes her work will awaken the imagination of the viewer and remind them to marvel at the infinite magic of existence. Her creative process is rooted in a need to escape the pressures and anxieties of the world and fully connect with the present. She finds joy in diving into the infinite details of nature and views the act of creating as deeply meditative. In these moments, time ceases to exist, allowing her to focus solely on pen and paper, letting the world within her emerge.
