Born in Nuremberg in 1954. 1978–84: Studied fine art and art theory at the Städel Academy of Fine Arts, Frankfurt. 1980–85: Studied philosophy at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt. 1985 Master’s degree. 1984–88 Studied art history at Justus Liebig University in Giessen under Prof. Dr Gottfried Boehm. 1988 Doctorate (“with distinction”). 1989–94 Research assistant at the Department of Architecture, specialising in Art History and Classical Archaeology, at the Technical University of Darmstadt. 1994 Habilitation (“summa cum laude”). 1994–01 Private lecturer, research professorship in Siegen. 2001–14: Lecturer at the HBK in Essen. I now live and work as a painter in Frankfurt am Main. I am married and have three children.

Rundum positive Erfahrung. Die Ausführung des Auftrags hat eine Weile gedauert, die angekündigte Lieferzeit wurde aber letztlich sogar etwas unterschritten. De levering door Bpost was absoluut desastreus. De gemelde leveringstijd sloeg nergens op. Er werd niet aangebeld en niet geleverd op de voorziene dag. Er werd ook geen duidelijke informatie gegeven over wat er dan met het pakket ging gebeuren. Bpost absoluut te mijden
